How many hours does a solar powered light tower last?

Mobile solar powered light tower are currently one of the more environmentally friendly and economical outdoor lighting devices that can be deployed to almost any location. But many people are not sure how long solar powered light tower can work and whether they can continue to work all night, providing efficient and stable lighting conditions for night work or activities.
There are three main factors that affect the lighting time of solar LED light tower:
1. Capacity of the battery string
As we all know, the solar light tower relies on the battery pack to power the LED light pack, so the capacity of the battery pack can directly affect the lighting time of the solar light tower. In the case of constant LED power, the larger the capacity of the battery pack, the longer its working time, on the contrary, the shorter.
2. The power and efficiency of solar panels
The solar powered light tower is fitted with solar panels that absorb sunlight to generate electricity and charge the battery pack, which is part of the design. Because of the evolution of the sun, the energy output of solar energy is getting higher and higher, so using solar energy to generate electricity is a very good choice. It's environmentally friendly, very efficient, and relatively stable. Moreover, the higher the efficiency, the more power the solar panel generates, and the faster the battery can be charged. Therefore, the power and efficiency of the solar panels also affect the working time of the solar powered light tower.
3. Climate and latitude of the location
We did two tests; 1. Place three identical solar light tower (800Ah battery pack, 240W LED light pack) at -30℃, normal temperature, 60℃, turn off the charging function of the solar panel, and conduct working time test; 2. Three identical solar light tower (800Ah battery packs, 3*450W solar panels) are placed at different latitudes (5° N, 35° N, 65° N) to test the charging efficiency of the solar panels. Studies have shown that light tower operate for different lengths of time at different temperatures. In the normal temperature environment, the working time of the light tower is the longest, reaching 58 hours, while the light tower located at -30 ° C and 60 ° C operate for 52 hours and 49 hours, respectively, so the climate is also one of the factors affecting the working time of the light tower. At different latitudes, due to the intensity and time of light caused by latitude, a solar panel located at 5° north latitude takes only 5.6 hours to fully charge the battery pack, while 35° North latitude takes 7.4 hours and 65° North latitude takes 10 hours. In addition, at the position of 65° north latitude, the longest sunshine can reach 21 hours, and the shortest sunshine is only 3 hours, which is very unfavorable to the operation of solar powered light tower.
Although these three factors can affect the lighting time of solar light tower, under normal circumstances, we do not place solar light tower in such extreme environments. Therefore, the main factors affecting the lighting duration of the light tower are the battery pack capacity and the power and efficiency of the solar panels. And in the general environment, when the battery pack capacity and solar panel power match, the solar powered light tower can always provide lighting, and does not require mains power to charge it.
