Then, only relying on solar panels to generate electricity can meet the electricity consumption of 5.6kw of electrical appliances.
If you need to carry more electrical appliances, the required power is large, or you need a solar powered trailer external discharge. Then it is necessary to increase the number of batteries and the number of solar panels inside the trailer, but the cost is relatively high, and the structure and circuit of the trailer need to be changed more, which is obviously not desirable. Adding a backup generator can solve the power consumption problem very well, almost no need to change the internal structure of the trailer, and the cost is lower than adding a battery, is a good choice.
Select a suitable small gasoline/diesel generator, place it into the trailer, and only need a simple connection wire to keep the generator running, charge the battery, or discharge it externally.
Therefore, not all solar powered trailers require backup generators, depending on the situation.
